Annual Children's Film Festival Kickstart On April 19 In Kothrud's City Pride Cinema

Pune: Excitement is in the air as the annual Children's Film Festival gears up for its silver jubilee edition, set to captivate young children during the upcoming summer holidays. Organised by 'Samvad Pune' and Kavre Ice Cream, the festival will take place from April 19th to 25th at City Pride Cinema in Kothrud.
Sunil Mahajan, president of Samvad, shared details about the festival during a press conference held on Sunday, with Raju Kavre from Kavre Ice Cream also in attendance.
This year, young movie enthusiasts can indulge in the magic of cinema with a lineup of seven captivating films. Director of All India Marathi Film Corporation, Nikita Moghe, is serving as the festival's coordinator, while Raj Kazi and Ketaki Mahajan-Borkar are organizers of this festival. The programme director is Vishal Shinde.
From April 19th to 25th, children can immerse themselves in a week-long celebration of cinema and delicious ice cream treats. The festival kicks off with the screening of 'Shyamchi Aai,' directed by Sujay Dahake, at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19th. The inaugural ceremony will witness the presence of esteemed guests, including child artist Sharv Gadgil, former mayor Muralidhar Mohol, Krishna Kumar Goyal from Kohinoor Group, Praveen Badhekar from Badhekar Group, and Arvind Chafalkar from City Pride Kothrud.
Tickets for the festival will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, April 16th, at City Pride (Kothrud), as informed by Mahajan.
The festival lineup includes cinemas on different topics, such as 'Shyamchi Aai' followed by 'Well Done Boys' on April 20th, 'Tajmal' on April 21st, 'Mhorkya' on April 22nd, 'Gypsy' on April 23rd, 'Ubuntu' on April 24th, and 'Chhabila' on April 25th.
