Pune: ALARD University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Poonam Kashyap as its new Vice Chancellor. Dr. Kashyap, an accomplished academic leader with over 20 years of experience, will bring her expertise to advance the university’s strategic goals and enhance its academic programs.

Dr. Kashyap earned her MBA from Ulster Business School and holds a PhD in Energy Management from Ulster University, UK. Her distinguished career encompasses significant contributions to construction procurement, sustainable development, and economic appraisal. Her innovative approach and extensive research background will be instrumental in driving ALARD University’s mission forward.

Prior to joining ALARD University, Dr. Kashyap served as the Director of Strategy and External Partnerships at NICMAR. In this role, she spearheaded numerous strategic initiatives and cultivated key partnerships that significantly benefited the institution. Notably, she led the NICMAR Hyderabad team to win the prestigious Green Campus award at the IGBC Green Building Congress in Chennai in November 2023.

Dr. Kashyap’s appointment is a strategic move for ALARD University as it strives to become a world-class institution and a beacon of excellence.
