I Get 'urja' In The Land Of Morya Gosavi, Says Mohan Bhagwat, Seeks Contribution For Religion From Everyone
Pune: Empasising that he gets ''urja (energy) in the land of Morya Gosavi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today appealed to citizens to make contribution for their religion.
''Chinchwad is a sacred and an awakened land. Here, one experiences the presence of Morya Gosavi Maharaj. In the land of Morya Gosavi, one gets 'urja.'' The religion of Morya should go worldwide. The entire world should get the blessings of 'Mangalmurti'..And everyone should make contribution for their religion,'' the RSS chief said while inaugurating the 463 Morya Gosavi Maharaj Sanjeevan Samadhi Sohla, in Chinchwad.
On the occasion, chief trustee of Chinchwad Devasthan Trust Mandar Dev Maharaj, Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanstha Samiti chief trustee Rajendra Umap, PCMC commissioner Shekhar Singh, Chinchwad Devasthan trustees Jitendra Dev, Keshav V and Devraj Dahale, among others, were present on the dias.
Bhagwat said,' 'Our life is full of struggles. And that's why struggle is our religion. Struggles is continuing from the past. It has not stopped. To tackle struggle, we need to keep our body, mind and intellect healthy. We should keep contributing for our religion.''
Stating that he was fortunate to have had the opportunity to take blessings of Morya Gosavi Maharaj,'' Bhagwat said,''Chinchwad is a sacred and awakened land and I get energy on this land,'' he said.
Bhagwat said Chinchwad was steeped in history. ''Icons like Sant Tukaram Maharaj, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ramdas Swami set foot on this land to make it a sacred one.''
Bhagwat said, "Relgion does not promote unnecessary dispute. Religion has balance. To run this world and the nature, everyone should give something. For the sake of religion, everyone should make contribution.''
''The nature is dictated by religion. Truthfullness, compassion, sacredness and penance. Religion binds everyone, it ensures the progress of one and all. For that, India should remain alive and keep making progress. Man should behave properly with nature, with others and with himself. After Covid, the tribe of those wanting to do some social work has increased. During that period, people recognised the pain of others and started helping each other,'' he said.
Bhagwat said the Sanatan tradition of India has crossed several hurldes. ''We should make use of it and make progress. We should be follow the path shown by our national icons,'' he said.
In his speech, PCMC commissioner Shekhar Singh said,''For the last two years, I have had the opportunity to witness the 'sohala'. We are developing the area around the Pavana river and the Devasthan area. PCMC will extend all possible help. We should all work for keeping our rivers clean.''
