Pune: Members of Gurukul celebrated their twelfth Anniversary celebrations on Saturday 12 th October 2024 at Pimpri Pune. It was also truly a festive day of Vijaya Dashmi (Dassera ) . It was exactly twelve years ago on the Vijayadashmi day ( Dassera day ) of 2012 that Gurukul started its activities from Pimpri . Gurukul is run by Geeta Ashram Khadki, Pune . Geeta Ashram Khadki was founded by a few close devotees of Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa.  

Gurukul is a hub from where activities of Gurukul Sanskrit academy ,Bhajans, spiritual activities like discourses,satsangs etc are conducted. Geeta Ashram Khadki, Pune ‘s sole intention is to serve people and lead them on the path of spiritual knowledge . Gurukul Sanskrit Academy is a part of Geeta Ashram, Khadki, Pune and its main aim is to promote and develop the ancient Sanskrit language. All the activities of the Gurukul Sanskrit academy are carried out free of cost for all the age groups of people. The twelfth anniversary event was celebrated under the divine guidance of " Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa” . Gurukul members presented talks in English, Sanskrit and Hindi in the evening on topics like Satyam (Truth ), Daya (compassion), Dharma(Duty) and on Ego . All the distinguished guests and vistors were also treated to light refreshments afterwards, stated a press release.
