PCMC Blue line affected citizens most unique banner ! 

Pune: The 8- 10 lakh affected residents living in about 2 lakh houses within the blue floodlines of Rivers Pavana, Indrayani and Mula in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal corporation ( PCMC ) limits have put up a huge 10 feet x 12 feet banner in Sangamnagar, Old Sangvi, PCMC.

The banner declares that Chinchwad assembly constituency has 4 MLAs for the residents whatever the official outcome on 23rd November 24.

The residents who are facing the demolition of their 2 lakh unauthorised houses and shops have formed an organisation by the name – BLUHSAVE ( Blue Line Unauthorised Houses & Shops Vision Etc ).

The BLUHSAVE members demanded a written guarantee from all candidates in the Chinchwad constituency and 4 leading candidates issued the Card to the delight of the association.

BLUHSAVE has published names of the 4 candidates as per date of issue of guarantee ( serial wise ) by the candidates as under :-

1. Maruti Sahebrao Bhapkar of the Maharashtra Swarajya Party

2. Shri Rahul Tanaji Kalate of Mahavikas Aghadi

3. Shri Bhausaheb Bhoir – Independent and

4. Shri Shankar Pandurang Jagtap of Mahayuti

These candidates have given written, signed guarantee on 4 points to save the houses and shops as under :

A. The blue line on PCMC town plan will be stayed till the retaining walls are built along all 3 Rivers flowing through the City .

B. The River Rejuvenation project will be limited to only open spaces along the river banks.

C. The green zones / belts along the river banks will be converted to Residential zones wherever constructions are in existence till 30th October 24 and

4. A special law will be enacted on the similar base of Slum Protection Act to automatically legalise and protect all unauthorised houses and shops built on individual lands of the property owners.

The banner congratulates the 4 candidates for addressing their most important problem and offers a standing ovation and salute to the four brave candidates.

It is perhaps for the first time ever in the history of the State and also Country that citizens have not only taken written guarantees but also declared 4 candidates as their MLAs !
