FICCI FLO Hold Fund Raiser
Pune: In a demonstration of unwavering support for women empowerment, FICCI Flo Pune Chapter hosted a groundbreaking Fundraiser Golf Tournament at the scenic Pune Golf Club Yerwada. The event, spearheaded by FICCI Mahila Aghadi Pune Chapter President Pinky Rajpal, drew widespread acclaim for its commitment to uplifting women from caddies families.
The tournament, a first-of-its-kind endeavor for the FICCI Pune Chapter, garnered resounding support from across the nation, with players hailing from Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mumbai converging at the prestigious Poona Club Golf Course. Notable personalities including Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and Deepak Gulati from Bridgestone, lent their wholehearted endorsement to the noble cause, gracing the greens with their presence and playing 18 holes.
Amidst fervent competition across 18 holes, players showcased exceptional skill and camaraderie. The winning team, comprising Sheikh Nasir, Himanshu Kalia, Kashmiri Shivam, and Sunil Mudgal, emerged victorious, while the runner-up team, led by Gangal Sumedh, demonstrated commendable teamwork and sportsmanship.

The tournament's success was further underscored by an array of side events, adding to the excitement and camaraderie on the course. Notable highlights included Nitesh Shinde's remarkable putt on hole 18 and Ishan Kanoi and Anke Kikereke's stellar performance in the longest drive category.
As the sun set on the tournament, Puna Golf Club Captain Ikram Khan, alongside Pinky Rajpal and Anita Rajiv Agarwal, hailed the event's triumph. Their collaborative efforts, complemented by the unwavering support of FICCI women members and distinguished players, exemplified a shared commitment to empowerment and solidarity.
