“Impart education as per industry demand”- AICTE Chairperson Dr. T.G. Sitaram

Pune:All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Chairperson Dr. T. G. Sitaram said that there is need for the education sector to align with the demands of industrial sector. “Educational institutes should impart education as per industry demand,” said Dr. Sitaram.

The logo of Alard University was unveiled at the hands of Dr. Sitaram during the Third Summit on Vision 2047 in Education organised by Centre for Education Growth and Research, Delhi. NAAC Chairperson Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Alard University Founder & Chancellor Dr. L. R. Yadav were present on the occasion. 

 

Chairpersons of NAAC and AICTE highlighted the need for the education sector to align with the demands of the industrial sector. In the current scenario where there is a significant demand in the industrial sector, it is imperative for the education sector to respond. In such a situation, the country's first Alard University is stepping into the education sector by offering 80 per cent practical education. This commendable decision was endorsed by Dr. T.G. Sitaram, Chairman of AICTE.

Dr. T.G. Sitaram stated that providing 70 per cent practical and 30 per cent theoretical education to students is a first by Alard university. Emphasizing the importance of applause in the education sector, he said that, “This will lead to job opportunities for students. Besides, our future lies in startups.”

Dr. L.R. Yadav said, “With a new vision, leadership, skill, hard work, and dedication, Alard University will now lead in academic excellence. With the motto 'We are different, we are Alard', students here will also get 100 per cent internship opportunities. The tradition of guru-shishya parampara has been prevalent in Indian culture since ancient times, and now this tradition continues at our university. In such a scenario, the unveiling of the new logo of Alard University heralds the beginning of a new revolution in the education world.”

NAAC Chairperson Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe congratulated the initiative and wished for its success, stated a press release.
