Pune: On Thursday evening, a cargo ST bus rammed a masonry grinder truck near the Chandani Chowk. Due to this collision, there was a huge traffic jam on the road leading from Chandani Chowk to Kothrud.

The cargo ST bus was en route to Kothrud from Chandani Chowk on Thursday evening. At that time, due to the sharp slope down and the slippery road due to earlier rainfall, the cargo ST bus struck the masonry grinder from behind. Due to this, the truck driver lost control of the truck and hit two two-wheelers who were coming from the front, breaking the divider of the road.

In this accident, three individuals were injured. After getting information about the accident, police immediately rushed to the scene and admitted the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

After the accident, a long queue of vehicles formed on the Chandani Chowk-Kothrud road. Traffic Deputy Commissioner of Police, Circle 3, Sambhaji Kadam, promptly alleviated the congestion afterward. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
