Pune: Birla Opus Paints, housed under Grasim Industries - Aditya Birla Group’s flagship firm, inaugurated four new franchisee stores in Pune this week. The brand had already unveiled its first set of stores in the city earlier this year at Chandan Nagar, Alandi and Manchar. It, now, further expanded its footprint in Pune by inaugurating four additional franchisee stores - Chandan Stores in Chinchwad, N V Infra in Kothrud, Amar Paint House in Yerwada, and Swarnim Paints in Manjari, stated a press release.

These franchisee stores will serve as comprehensive hubs for all Birla Opus Paints’ products, offering a wide range of shades to consumers reflecting the region's rich heritage and cultural vibrancy. These new stores are in line with Birla Opus Paints rapidly advancing its expansion plan, with four out of six state-of-the-art, automated manufacturing plants fully operational across India. These plants, located in Ludhiana, Panipat, Cheyyar, and now Chamarajnagar, are pivotal to the company’s growing footprint. In fact, the recently launched Chamarajnagar facility helped Birla Opus Paints to further boost its production capacity to 860+ MLPA, making it the 2nd largest decorative paints player by installed capacity.
