President Joe Biden on Thursday addressed the nation from the White House in his first televised speech since the Democratic loss.

In his ‘Rose Garden address’, President Biden urged Americans “to keep the faith” and said, “You can’t love your country only when you win.” Reflecting on his term, he said, “We’re leaving behind the strongest economy in the world” and called on his team to make the most of the remaining 74 days. He assured a “peaceful transfer of power” on January 20. Biden closed with a message of resilience, saying, “Setbacks are unavoidable, but giving up is unforgivable.”
